To celebrate all the unique qualities that makes an Irish Terrier so special to own. To breed, raise, and show healthy animals following the AKC standard guidelines.
Our Focus
The Irish Terrier Club of Southern California (ITCSC) promotes the education and preservation of the Irish Terrier breed characteristics that are so unique to this animal. The Club's primary focus is three-fold:
Breed
Responsible breeding takes hard work and dedication. It's not easy to raise a litter of healthy puppies.
ITCSC supports all of our Irish Terrier breeders through the breeder referral and by the neighborly support each member gets by sharing their knowledge and experience with fellow Club breeders.
Show
ITCSC's main focus is to plan and organize the Irish Terrier shows. There are two Specialties in June and a supported entry with the Great Western Terrier Association.
There is another supported entry with the Desert Empire Terrier Association held in January. The Club supports other shows during the year.
Support
The purpose of the ITCSC is support.
We strive to be available to anyone in need of assistance.
Members are there for new puppy owners, breeders, those showing dogs, or anyone with issues that need our expertise and knowledge. We want to be able to provide help to any Irish Terrier owner.
